Plant-Based Cooking in the Algarve

This sun-drenched cooking retreat, located at a riverside villa in the central Algarve, is draws inspiration from the plant-based cuisine of celebrated cooks. St Ives is the excellent location for a sea shanty weekend. Participants will be taught traditional shanties from a experienced musician, and try their hand at composing original ones. There will be vocal warmups, breathing exercises, performance tips and a final evening concert. The retreat is based at a country house overlooking the bay. Full board are included, including a Cornish cream tea on arrival, cooked or continental breakfasts, lunches to go and three-course dinners. Traditional rum, alas, is not provided.
