Nearly Ninety Air Travels Linked to Epstein Reportedly Arrived at or Departed from UK Airfields
An investigation has identified that nearly 90 aircraft journeys associated to Jeffrey Epstein are said to have touched down at and left British airports, with some allegedly transporting British women who assert they were abused by the found guilty sex offender.
Aviation Records Reveal Trail of Movement
The travel manifests were among thousands of legal papers and files released by Epsteinās estate that have been disclosed over the previous twelve months. The review found 87 flights connected to Epstein ā featuring many that were not previously known ā landing or taking off from British airfields between the start of the 1990s and 2018.
Passenger Details and Post-Conviction Flights
Unidentified women were listed among the passengers entering and exiting the UK. Crucially, 15 of these UK flights occurred subsequent to Epsteinās 2008 guilty verdict for soliciting sex from a minor.
āThis is āshockingā that there had never been a āfull-scale UK investigationā into his activities in the country,ā said American attorneys acting for numerous Epstein victims.
UK Survivors and Legal Proceedings
Evidence from one of the UK-based survivors aided the conviction of Epsteinās accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell of child sex-trafficking in the US in 2021. But, that victim has not received any contact by police in the UK, according to her Florida-based lawyer.
In a statement, the Metropolitan police indicated they had ānot been provided with any new evidence that would support restarting the probe.ā They commented, āShould fresh and pertinent evidence be presented to us, including any resulting from the release of material in the US, we will evaluate it.ā
Ongoing Document Release and Judicial Decisions
A bill to release every document held by the American government in regarding Epstein was approved by the US Congress last month. The US justice department has until 19 December to comply. Hundreds of thousands of documents are expected to be released.
Separately, a US judge ordered last week that the department could disclose evidence from a sex-trafficking case against Maxwell, Epsteinās close friend, who is serving a 20-year prison sentence over the allegations.
