The First Game Pass Games of 2026 Reveal Xbox Isn't Giving Up Yet.
Across the gaming landscape, enthusiasts continue to ring the knell for the green team. Microsoft's console just got outsold by a lesser-known competitor. Dedicated Xbox communities are now publishing content on PS5 topics unprecedentedly. Last year proved to be an era of significant turmoil for the tech giant's gaming arm. Yet, based exclusively on what's coming to Game Pass in 2026, it's evident that Xbox remains determined to draw people in with strong games on its key platform.
The Available Now Titles
The duo of games currently accessible at this moment, Brews & Bastards and Little Nightmares Enhanced Edition, are not the headliners. Rather, it's what is coming to Game Pass soon that's worth getting excited about.
Significant Forthcoming Releases
On Jan. 13, Game Pass will add the underrated Star Wars Outlaws, an open-world game that deviates from the standard Ubisoft formula with an intergalactic heist adventure. An additional significant inclusion is Resident Evil Village and its giant Lady Dimitrescu, hailed in past assessments as "the perfect cocktail of horror and action."
Compelling Indie Titles
Yet, the less-hyped additions coming to Game Pass soon are noteworthy here. Lost In Random: The Eternal Die, a fantastic but under-the-radar dungeon crawler offering thrilling gameplay, drops on Jan. 7th — and you should try it regardless of whether you played the first Lost in Random game.
The British post-apocalyptic game from last year could captivate you in about 15 minutes flat.
Atomfall, a game blending infiltration and resource management by the developers behind Sniper Elite, is also a game to check out. Game Pass Ultimate subscribers also have Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine – Master Crafted Edition to get excited about.
A Well-Rounded Collection
All in all, these aren't the most groundbreaking additions to Game Pass, and they are also not massive exclusive blockbusters that are the sole reason for the service by themselves. Yet, this selection are rock solid. It offers a healthy blend of old games you might have missed and fairly new titles that lacked the recognition they were due initially — transforming them into excellent choices to experience a revival on Game Pass.
Be prepared to say goodbye to The Grinch Christmas Adventures, as it happens.
